Support Center ticket status is managed from the ticket detail panel. The installed interface provides five selectable statuses so staff can reflect the current state of a request.
Change a ticket status
- In WordPress admin, open Support Center → Tickets.
- Select the ticket you want to update.
- In the ticket details sidebar, find the Status dropdown.
- Select the appropriate status. The interface sends the change to the server and refreshes the ticket data when the update succeeds.
- Check the ticket list and selected ticket to confirm the new status is shown.
Available status choices
| Status | Label shown in the interface |
|---|---|
open | Open |
pending | Pending |
waiting_customer | Waiting Customer |
resolved | Resolved |
closed | Closed |
These are the selectable options present in the ticket detail interface in the inspected plugin version. The source audit does not establish additional automated transition rules or response-time targets.
Permissions and verification
- If the status control is unavailable or the update is rejected, check the staff member’s Support Center permissions.
- Refresh the ticket view and verify the saved status rather than relying only on the immediate visual selection.
- For ticket assignment and other details, see Manage Support Tickets.
- For customer-facing responses, see Reply to Support Tickets.
