Add a Flipbox Button

Add a button to the Ultimate Flipbox back face, where Enable Button is on by default, then edit Button Text and Button URL, style the button, and test the destination.

A button gives visitors a clear next step after reading the flip card. In Ultimate Flipbox, its controls are in the Back tab of Flipbox Content. In plugin version 2.1.7, Enable Button is on by default.

Open and check the button switch

  1. In WordPress, go to Pages → All Pages and open the intended page.
  2. Click Edit with Elementor and select the Ultimate Flipbox widget on the canvas.
  3. Open Content → Flipbox Content → Back.
  4. Check Enable Button. It is enabled by default. Turn it on if you want the button visible, or turn it off to hide the button and its related controls.

Enter the button label

  1. With Enable Button on, find Button Text in Content → Flipbox Content → Back.
  2. The source default is Read Docs. Replace it with a concise action label that accurately describes the destination.

Set the button destination

  1. Keep Enable Button on and locate Button URL in the same Back controls.
  2. The source default URL is #, so replace it with the intended destination address.
  3. Elementor’s URL control includes Open in new window and Nofollow options. Both are false in the plugin’s default URL value; enable either only when it suits the link.
  4. For the detailed URL workflow, see Configure the Button Destination Link.

Style and test the button

  1. Open Style → Button Style. This section is available when Enable Button is on.
  2. Adjust the available style controls so the button label remains readable against the back-side background.
  3. Click Elementor’s Update button.
  4. Preview the saved page, flip the card to its back, and select the button to verify the destination.

Troubleshooting

  • Button is missing: check Enable Button and confirm the switch is on.
  • Button does not navigate: replace the default # in Button URL, click Update, and test the saved frontend page.
  • Button is hard to read: review Style → Button Style and the Back background in Style → Container Box Settings → Back.

For the back-side title, description, and icon, see Configure Back-Side Content. Return to the Ultimate Flipbox Card guide for the full setup.
