If the Smart Form Builder analytics screen has no visitor data, first check whether visitor tracking is enabled. In the current plugin implementation, Enable Visitor Tracking defaults to disabled, so analytics can remain empty even while forms are working and entries are being saved.
1. Enable visitor tracking
- Open Smart Forms → Settings → GDPR / Privacy.
- Find Enable Visitor Tracking and turn it on if your site is permitted and configured to collect this analytics data.
- Save the settings.
- Visit a page with a form and generate new activity, then return to Smart Forms → Analytics to check for data.
2. Check for new activity
After enabling tracking, test with a new visit rather than expecting earlier visits to appear retroactively. Then reload the analytics screen and check the date range or summary being displayed. The analytics screen reports site-wide form analytics; it is not a per-form conversion report.
3. Separate analytics from saved entries
- Open Smart Forms → Entries to check whether submissions are being stored. Saved entries and visitor-tracking analytics are separate checks.
- If entries are present but analytics is empty, recheck the visitor-tracking setting and test with new activity after saving it.
- If entries are missing too, follow Why are my form submissions not being saved? to check the Save Entry action.
Privacy reminder
Enable visitor tracking only when it fits your site’s privacy requirements and disclosures. Review your site’s consent and privacy configuration before collecting analytics data, and avoid sharing identifiable visitor information when requesting support.
