Activate Smart Form Builder after WordPress has installed it. Activation enables the plugin’s admin tools for accounts that have the required permissions.
Activate the plugin
- Open Plugins → Installed Plugins.
- Locate Smart Form Builder in the installed plugins list.
- Select Activate.
- Look for Smart Forms in the WordPress admin menu.
Confirm activation
The appearance of the Smart Forms menu is the first practical check that the plugin’s dashboard entry point is available. The plugin registers screens such as Dashboard, Forms, Add Form, Entries, Error Log, Analytics, and Settings. The Setup screen may also appear while onboarding is incomplete.
If you cannot access Smart Forms
- Return to Plugins → Installed Plugins and confirm that the plugin is active.
- Check that your WordPress account has the capabilities required to access the plugin’s admin screens.
- If the plugin is active but its editor page does not load, follow Why is the form editor not loading?.
When activation is complete, continue to Create Your First Form for the form-building workflow.
