Configure Other Social Channels

Configure phone, email, Instagram DM, SMS, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn destinations in Dragwyb Click to Chat and test each link.

The Social Channels Widget supports several contact methods beyond WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Telegram. In the inspected plugin version, the main channel configuration includes Phone, Email, Instagram DM, SMS, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn. Each destination is built according to its channel type, so enter the value requested by the corresponding field.

Open channel configuration

  1. Go to Dashboard → Click to Chat → Settings → 1. General.
  2. In the Social Channels Widget module, select Configure Channels & Layout.
  3. Under Choose Your Channels, enable each channel you want to display.
  4. In Channel Configuration, enter the destination details for each active channel.
  5. Select Save Settings.

Enter the appropriate destination

  • Phone: Enter the phone number for the call link. The channel uses a tel: destination.
  • Email: Enter the support email address. The plugin builds an email composition link.
  • Instagram DM: Enter the Instagram username. The channel uses an Instagram messaging URL.
  • SMS: Enter the mobile number to use for the SMS destination. The generated link uses the sms: scheme.
  • Twitter/X: Enter the value requested by the channel’s Twitter Username field and test the generated message link. The inspected registry constructs a Twitter/X message-composition URL from that value.
  • LinkedIn: Enter the LinkedIn profile URL in the LinkedIn Profile URL field.

Test the channels

Open a frontend page where the widget should appear and test each enabled destination. Confirm that phone and SMS links invoke the expected device action and that web destinations open the intended account or service. If a channel is missing, check that it is enabled and that the widget’s display rules allow it on the current page and device.
